Some key things to know

Our campus is located along the winding Red Cedar River on approximately 110 acres of partially wooded land. Six buildings comprise the campus including a gymnasium and Fine Arts Building. All buildings are handicapped accessible.

The campus

In fall 2006, the extensive $6.4 million expansion and renovation project was completed. The new construction updated and connected Meggers Hall with Ritzinger Hall. Expanded and renovated facilities include state-of-the-art science labs, high-tech classrooms, and comfortable student activity space. Apartment-style student housing is available within walking distance from campus.

Other educational and recreational facilities include an observatory, Japanese Garden, three-hole golf course, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, eighteen hole disc golf course, a prairie restoration and wildlife habitat study area, and the Cedar Side Trail for walking and biking.

The community

Located an easy one-hour drive from Eau Claire, the college is located in the thriving city of Rice Lake. This community of approximately 10,000 people boasts of its indoor hockey, curling and swimming facilities, enclosed shopping mall, national retail stores, and downtown business area.

The Blue Hills recreation area, just east of Rice Lake, is an excellent location for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, snowmobiling and downhill and cross-country skiing. To find out more about our community, visit Rice Lake Online.
