Facilities + Catering

Your club or organization may meet in one of the many classrooms or in the Cedarside Conference Room located in the Student Center. In addition to rooms, equipment such as TV/VCRs, overhead projectors, screens, blackboards and easels may be available. Room seating can be arranged in a variety of meeting styles. Rental rates by non-profit groups, corporations, or private parties are available

The 349-seat theatre may be available for programs or concerts. Piano rental can be arranged. Dressing rooms may also be available. For an additional fee, special lighting and sound equipment may be used. If reserving the theatre, please complete and submit the Theatre Technical Needs Request Form.

The softball/baseball fields, soccer field and 18-hole disc golf course are open to the public. If an outdoor space reservation is wanted in conjunction with a facility rental, please indicate on the Facility Use Form and you will be contacted to discuss the space availability and your requirements.

A bright and airy open space, The Commons can easily accommodate table seating for 100 or rows of seating for 150 or more. Rental includes use of integrated sound system, rotunda area and same-floor restrooms.

Located along the Red Cedar River, the Student Center is your center for The Riverside: Coffee, Cafe & Bookstore.  The Eagles Nest Lounge and the Cedarside Conference Room are also located on the upper level of the Student Center.

The Riverside Café serves breakfast, lunch, and short orders and has a variety of snack foods.  The Riverside Coffee & Bookstore offers coffee along with other beverages and pastries.  Charger gear is available for sale at the Riverside Coffee and Bookstore and it is a textbook pickup site. The Eagles Nest Lounge provides students with an opportunity to relax, talk with friends, and watch TV.  The Cedarside Conference Room is available as a meeting place for campus or outside groups. Student Center hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Extended times are available by submitting a Facility Use Form at least two weeks prior to your event.

The lower level of the Student Center houses the distance education classrooms and three regular classrooms.

Our library catalog can be accessed from any computer with internet capability and provides an instant link to the holdings of our library as well as the libraries of the other 12 UW Colleges campuses and the 13 four-year universities.

Gym, shower and locker facilities may be available.

Located in the Fine Arts Building, the art gallery may be available for exhibits by local and national artists through special arrangements made with the Solution Center by emailing uwecbcinfo@uwec.edu.

The Riverside Cafe is located on the upper level of the Student Center. The food service is open from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during Fall and Spring semesters (closed holidays, winter break, spring break and during the summer), serving breakfast, lunch, daily specials, and short orders at reasonable rates. The campus Food Service caters all on-campus functions. A full menu is available to visiting groups that includes an array of morning refreshments, sandwich buffets, salad luncheons, luncheon buffets, dinners, and desserts/munchies. Arrangements should be made directly with Food Service personnel by contacting Hope Dodge at 715-788-6259.
