Blugold Card

Your university ID

Blugold IDs are the official photo identification of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and UW-Eau Claire - Barron County.   

Present your Blugold Mobile ID whenever access to facilities and services is required. A Blugold Mobile ID is required when for textbook rental transactions at the UW-Eau Claire University Bookstore and to borrow materials from the university libraries.

Getting your Blugold Card

UW-Eau Claire—Barron County undergraduate students, faculty and staff members receive a university identification card as a privilege of their affiliation with the university. Learn how to set up and access your Blugold Mobile ID. 

Paying with your Blugold Card

Physical UWECBC Cards

Our campus is a mobile-first campus, meaning that students are encouraged to use their mobile credentials for all transactions while on campus.

The cost of a physical Blugold ID card is $15. Please see Solution Center staff for more information.

For students who have both a physical Blugold ID and Blugold Mobile ID, we recommend keeping the physical Blugold Card in a secure location as a back-up.

The fine print

The Blugold Card is the official photo identification card of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire—Barron County. The card is the property of UW-Eau Claire. Its use is governed by all university regulations and is non-transferable. Please refer to Cardholder Information for more information.
